Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes our initiation into the Catholic faith that commenced with the Sacrament of Baptism. If Baptism is the sacrament of re-birth to a new and supernatural life, Confirmation is the sacrament of maturity and coming of age. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, God bestows an increased presence of the Holy Spirit on us so that we may work with deep faith and with abiding charity, and that we may help to bring to the world the fruits of reconciliation and peace. Strengthened by the Holy Spirit and His manifold gifts, we are committed wholeheartedly to the Church’s struggle against sin.

All Grade 6 and older students who are baptized Catholic/have made a Profession of Faith and have received First Holy Communion and Reconciliation will participate in this program. (If you have not received Reconciliation you must also register for that Sacrament.) Please contact Sister Elisa, RVM +1 (250)-709-1278 or Sarah Modeste (250)-701-7103
